It’s a crappy, rainy out.

Forgot about you, tumblr. Sorry. I’ve just been busy with a looming project…

This is perhaps my favorite blog. Ever. In Catalog Living, blogger Molly takes the hilarious images you see in Ethan Allen-esque home living catalogs and envisions the lives of a couple who would actually live in such a home.

I am guilty of sometimes trying on my wedding band before I go to bed. It helps with the lonely times.

That quote from Austin Powers:

"You’re not missing anything, believe me. I’ve looked into it. There’s a gas shortage and A Flock of Seagulls. That’s about it.”

has always been funny to me, but is more humorous now that I can look back on the days when I thought he was literally referring to an actual flock of seagulls.

You wouldn’t know it looking out the window right now, but apparently much of the northeast - Boston included - is under a tornado watch right now. I didn’t think these things happened here. I’m reassured it’s very rare (by my Bostonian friends and by all the “wtf" tweets right now) and that they tend to "go where they’re supposed to,’ whatever that means, but nonetheless, my stomach is a bit clenched. I grew up in a part of the country where you don’t take these things lightly.

May has always been one of my favorite months. That was before it was all that was standing between me and the last 30 days of being in Boston without Tylor. So glad to turn the page to June. Let the countdown begin…
